Our exhibition hopes to provide the daily life and development of the Sham Shui Po community in the 1950s-1960s through reading Jane’s diary. Jane is a girl who was created by our group and lived in Mei Ho House. Our content focuses on the daily life of residents in Mei Ho House after the Shek Kip Mei fire, the operation of the family factory, the function and development of the fabric market and surrounding markets, the landscape of the dawn market and the contribution of the Garden Company for the residents and community. We hope to show this unique district's historical and cultural value through the perspective of the living style of residents in the last century since the 1950s. Audiences can learn more about the culture and history of the Sham Shui Po community through the exhibition.

     我們的展覽會以「阿珍」（一位住在美荷樓的女生）為主角，通過她的視角（日記）觀察50至60年代深水埗居民的生活日常及社區發展。我們會將重點放於深水埗居民在石硤尾大火後遷入美荷樓的生活、家庭式手作工業的運作、布街及鄰近市場的作用及發展、成衣天光墟的面貌以及嘉頓公司對居民及社區的貢獻。我們希望透過展覽，能將深水埗上世紀獨特而且平民化的一面展現及觀眾，讓觀眾對這社區的文化有更多的認識。
