瀝源邨噴水池於 1988 年作為大型翻新工程的一部分添加到邨內。
多年來，噴水池已成為該地區的著名地標，不少機構及電影曾到此取景拍攝，例如香港電台兒童劇《小時候》。
如今，由於多個公共屋邨的舊式噴水池已關閉和拆除，但瀝源邨的噴水池依然存在，因此成為社區的標誌，是市民和遊客的熱門去處。
The Fountain of Lek Yuen Estate was added to the estate in 1988 as part of a larger renovation project.
Over the years, the fountain has become a famous landmark in the area and has been featured in many movies and TV shows, such as RTHK 'When We Were Young'.
Today, since various public housing estate fountains have been closed and demolished, the Fountain of Lek Yuen Estate remains a symbol of the community, arousing a popular destination for locals and tourists.
