The Metropole Building on King’s Road was constructed in the 1960s. There are many Fujianese people living upstairs, and clansmen associations such as the Hong Kong Ci Zao Zhen Association. These organizations help them to keep connections with their hometowns in Fujian which reflects the cohesion of the Fujianese people in North Point.
